ATM Card
Your Rock ATM card provides you with access to your funds 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can even design your own card through The Rock's DesignACard.
You can have the convenience of an ATM card connected to the following accounts:
The Only Account Personal cheque account with ATM access that pays quarterly interest. The only account you'll need for your day-to-day banking.
Fee Cruncher An everyday account with no monthly account keeping fee.
Senior's Account All the features of "The Only" account but paying a higher rate of interest on your savings.
Senior's Platinum Account Enjoy many of the features of our regular Senior's Account, but with no monthly account fee and higher interest paid quarterly.
Teen Account Low-fee savings account, with bonus interest available, that encourages teenagers to save. As they mature and their savings grow, so too do their banking options.
Student Survivor Account A low-fee savings account to assist full-time tertiary students while they are studying.
What is ATM direct charging?
ATM direct charging means that if you use an ATM not owned by The Rock, you may be charged directly by that ATM owner for the service, rather than by The Rock.
If as a Rock Building Society account holder, you use your Rock card at a "foreign" ATM provided by another bank, building society, credit union or independent provider such as Cashcard, that institution can charge you for using their ATM at the time of the transaction.
Therefore to save on ATM fees, Rock cardholders should use a Rock ATM wherever possible. Most Rock cardholders accessing their Rock account at a Rock ATM will not be charged a fee for the transaction.
Our ATM network is one of the largest of any financial institution in Central Queensland; allowing Rock customers to potentially minimise or eliminate these ATM fees.
The Rock's growing ATM network now stretches from Cairns in the north to Belmont in the south, with even more ATMs to be installed across Queensland this year. What's more, in Central Queensland, you have the benefit of access to one of the largest ATM fleets of any financial institution in our region.
