Rock customers can expect a better and simpler banking experience when the 50 year old brand is re-branded to MyState Bank in early December.
MyState Limited managing director Melos Sulicich said that while The Rock has a proud history dating back to 1967 and has been a part of the MyState Group since 2011, it had continued to operate under its own brand.
“Since 2011 we’ve been significantly investing in our technology platforms and services, carefully upgrading The Rock’s banking systems. We are now bringing The Rock brand to the MyState umbrella which will simplify our systems and allow us to bring better products and services to Rock customers,” he said.
“One of these investments includes the upgrading of our digital platform to meet customers’ changing expectations. This includes the convenience of applying for new accounts online and receiving simpler, easier to understand consolidated account statements,” Mr Sulicich said.
The Rock regional executive manager Peter Fraser said as a part of MyState Bank, Central Queensland customers would soon have access to new saving and transaction accounts.
“In early December, we’re launching a Bonus Saver Account and a new transaction account aptly named the Glide Account, both which have no monthly account keeping fees and are perfect for people who live digitally and on-the-go,” Mr Fraser said.
“In addition, customers will be able to take control of their money through mobile banking, accessed via secure fingerprint login, to manage daily transfer limits, account redraw and view eStatements.”
He said customers would continue to enjoy the same friendly faces and service they had come to expect in branch, backed by a full service Customer Care team operating from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday and 9am-1pm Saturday (1800 806 645).
“Our name may be changing but our commitment to Central Queensland remains paramount,” Mr Fraser said.
